How to Print Meesho Shipping Labels (Thermal or Normal Printer)

5 min read · Updated

To print Meesho shipping labels, download the label PDF from the Supplier Panel, crop the invoice off with a Meesho label crop tool, then print the cropped file at 100% scale. Use the 4x6 size for a thermal label printer, or an A4 option for an ordinary laser or inkjet printer, and test one barcode first.

What you need for Meesho label printing

You need three things: the label PDF, a way to crop it and a printer. The free Meesho label crop tool does the cropping in your browser, with no login, and the PDF is not uploaded.

Cropping comes first because Meesho gives each label on an A4 page with the tax invoice below it. Printed as it is, every order uses a full sheet, and the page does not fit a thermal label. If you have not got the file yet, see how to download Meesho shipping labels.

Which Meesho label printer to use

Either kind of printer works: a thermal label printer or an ordinary A4 printer. The difference is the paper, and whether you cut anything afterwards.

How to print Meesho labels on a thermal printer

Printing Meesho labels on a thermal printer takes six steps.

  1. Download the label PDF for your ready-to-ship orders from the Meesho Supplier Panel.
  2. Upload it to the Meesho label crop tool and keep "Crop labels (remove invoice section)" selected.
  3. Choose "4″ × 6″ Thermal" as the paper size, or the 3x5 or 4x4 size if that is what is in your printer.
  4. Sort by SKU or Courier Partner, click Preview labels, then Generate Sorted PDF.
  5. Open the downloaded PDF. In the print dialog choose the thermal printer, the same paper size and 100% scale.
  6. Print one label, scan its barcode with your phone, then print the rest.

How to print Meesho labels on a normal printer

Printing Meesho labels on a normal laser or inkjet printer also takes six steps. Only the paper option and the cutting are different.

  1. Download the label PDF from the Meesho Supplier Panel.
  2. Upload it to the Meesho label crop tool and keep "Crop labels (remove invoice section)" selected.
  3. Choose "A4 Sheet" for one label on each sheet, or "A4, 4 labels per sheet" to put four on a sheet.
  4. Sort by SKU or Courier Partner, then click Generate Sorted PDF.
  5. Print on A4 at 100% scale. Print one sheet and check the barcode scans before printing a batch.
  6. Cut the labels out, along the dashed cut guides if you printed four per sheet, and fix one to each parcel.

Print settings that keep the barcode scannable

Three settings decide whether a Meesho barcode scans: the paper size, the scale and the margins.

  • Paper size: the size in the print dialog must be the size you chose in the tool.
  • Scale: 100% or "Actual size". Turn off "Fit to page".
  • Margins: zero or "None" if the dialog offers it, with browser headers and footers off.
  • Darkness: on a thermal printer, raise it if the bars look grey.

Printing the Meesho label with the invoice

To print the invoice as well, choose "Keep invoice (label + invoice together)" and print on A4. Each full page is printed, still sorted. A full page shrunk onto a 4x6 label is too small to read, and this option is not available together with "A4, 4 labels per sheet". The choice is explained in Meesho label with the invoice or without.

If the Meesho label prints wrong

Most printing problems come from the paper size or the scale, not from the label.

Print Meesho labels in packing order

Print the labels sorted, and they come out in the order you pack. Sort by SKU to pack one product at a time, or by courier to keep each pickup together. The Meesho label crop tool sorts while it crops, so it adds no extra step.

Frequently asked questions

Which printer do I need for Meesho labels?

Either a thermal label printer that takes 4x6 inch labels, or any ordinary A4 laser or inkjet printer. A thermal printer suits daily packing; an A4 printer is enough for a few orders a day.

Do I have to crop a Meesho label before printing it?

Not strictly. You can print the A4 page as Meesho gives it, but it uses a full sheet for every order and does not fit a thermal label. Cropping leaves only the label.

Can I print Meesho labels from my phone?

The crop tool works in a mobile browser, so you can make the print-ready PDF on a phone. Whether you can print from the phone depends on your printer model and how it connects.

Can Meesho labels be printed in black and white?

Yes. A thermal printer prints only in black, and the courier scans the barcode, which needs dark bars on a light background and no colour.

How many Meesho labels can I print in one go?

One PDF can have up to 1,000 pages and 100 MB, and several PDFs can be added to one batch of up to 2,000 pages and 200 MB. They come out as one sorted file.
