How to Merge and Sort Label PDFs From Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon

5 min read · Updated

To merge and sort label PDFs from Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon, first crop and sort each marketplace PDF in the label crop tool, then join the cropped files into one PDF or print them one after another. The tool reads one PDF at a time, and every cropped file comes out in the same paper size.

Can you merge label PDFs from different marketplaces

Yes, you can merge label PDFs from Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon, but the order of the work matters: crop and sort first, merge after. Each marketplace lays its PDF out differently, and each file is cropped best in the form the marketplace gave it.

The Seller Help label crop tool takes one PDF at a time, up to 100 MB and 1,000 pages. So a seller on three marketplaces makes three cropped files, all in the same paper size, and those can be joined safely.

How to merge and sort label PDFs step by step

Merging and sorting takes six steps, and the first three are repeated for each marketplace.

  1. Download the day’s label PDF from each seller panel and keep the files as downloaded.
  2. Upload the first file to its tool: the Meesho label crop tool, the Flipkart label crop tool or the Amazon label crop tool.
  3. Keep "Crop labels" selected, choose the same paper size for every file, for example "4″ × 6″ Thermal", sort by SKU or Courier Partner and click Generate Sorted PDF.
  4. Repeat for the other marketplaces. Each download is named with the marketplace, the number of orders and the date, so the files are easy to tell apart.
  5. If you want one print job, join the cropped files with a PDF merge app on your computer. They are all the same page size, so nothing is scaled.
  6. Print at 100% scale on 4x6 labels.

Why you should crop before you merge

Crop before you merge because merging re-saves the PDF, and a re-saved marketplace PDF can crop badly. The tool finds the invoice by the text on the page, and another app can change or remove that text when it writes a new file. The usual result is a strip of invoice left under the label.

A cropped file has no such risk. Its pages are finished labels, so joining them only puts them one after another.

Merge first or crop first: the two ways compared

Crop first is the dependable way. Merge first can work, but it needs a careful check in the preview.

How sorting works for each marketplace

Sorting groups the labels inside one file by SKU or by courier, using what is printed on each label.

  • Meesho: the SKU is read from the Product Details row and the courier from the label text, so both sort types work.
  • Flipkart: the SKU and the courier block are read as text. E-Kart Logistics labels are grouped as "Ekart".
  • Amazon: the label is an image, so the SKU is read from the invoice page that follows it, and all labels are grouped under "Amazon Easy Ship". Sort Amazon files by SKU.
  • In every file you can order the groups by name or by number of labels, and drag the rows to set your own print order.

How to keep three marketplaces apart while packing

Keep the marketplaces apart by printing and packing one file at a time. Each marketplace has its own pickup, and a parcel given to the wrong courier is a lost day.

  • Print one marketplace, pack it, then print the next.
  • Use one tray or crate for each marketplace.
  • If you merge into one PDF, put the files in the order the pickups arrive.
  • Count the labels of each marketplace against its orders before sealing.
  • Keep the original PDFs, with their invoices, in a dated folder.

Checklist before you print the merged file

Check these five things before you send a merged file to the printer.

  • Every file was cropped from the original marketplace PDF.
  • Every file was made in the same paper size.
  • The page count of the merged file equals the total number of orders.
  • No invoice page or invoice strip is left in the preview.
  • The print dialog is set to the label size and 100% scale. If the print shifts, see how to fix label printing that is cut off.

Where to get each label PDF

Each label PDF comes from its own seller panel. See how to download Flipkart shipping labels and invoices and how to download Meesho shipping labels; Amazon Easy Ship labels are downloaded from Seller Central.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload three label PDFs to the tool at the same time?

No. The tool reads one PDF at a time. Crop and sort each marketplace file, then join the cropped files if you want one print job.

Will Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon labels print on the same 4x6 roll?

Yes. Choose the same paper size for every file. Each label is fitted to that size, so all three print on the same roll.

Can the same SKU from different marketplaces be grouped together?

Sorting works inside one file. Files cropped separately are each sorted on their own, so the same SKU appears once in each marketplace’s file.

How do I know which cropped file is from which marketplace?

The downloaded file is named with the marketplace, the number of orders and the date. The labels themselves also carry each marketplace’s courier and order details.

Is it safe to merge label PDFs on a website?

Labels carry customer names and addresses, so an app on your own computer is the safer choice for merging. The Seller Help crop tool processes the PDF in your browser and does not upload it.
